"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" Matthew 28:19

We believe at Bethel that to be part of a global church means supporting the work of the church worldwide. Part of our income every month goes to support the work of the church outside Witham.
Through prayer and financial support, we are part of nurturing churches in Northern Spain, and help to support a pastor and his family in Kenya. We are also involved in supporting evangelism on board ships docked at Immingham, and support the work of Christian Youth Outreach (CYO) reaching out to young people.
We support Christian Solidarity Worldwide, who campaign for justice for persecuted Christians around the world. We also support Tear Fund, an evangelical development and relief agency.
We look for our support to be more than just giving money, and have future plans to visit our mission partners and get involved in the work they are doing.

John and Esther Mburu work in Kenya, where they pastor two churches. Esther is a nurse by training, who trained at Kijabe mission hospital where Nick and Helen Waring worked for five years. Together they have planted and nurtured a growing congregation and seen it multiply in numbers and impact for God's kingdom. Many African pastors get little financial remuneration from their own churches so at Bethel we have decided to help this family gain stability by providing financial support. They have two daughters, Mercy (aged 10) and Grace (aged 7) and a baby son, Samuel. In Kenyan tradition, you may hear Esther and John referred to as 'Mama Mercy' and 'Baba Mercy'.

John Barnard from the "Seamen's Christian Friend Society" periodically visits Bethel to update us on his work at Immingham Docks. The SCFS gives pastoral and practical support to visiting seamen at Immingham and elsewhere in the UK and abroad.
John leaves Bethel laden down with gifts of clothing that all go towards helping the seamen during their brief stay in the UK.

Lorne Campbell works for Urban Saints, a national Christian Youth Ministry.

Gabriel and Daniela Corradini live and work in Asturias, northern Spain where they work with Spanish Assemblies of God, church planting in a spiritual desert right on our doorsteps. They have two sons Stefan (5) and Jonathan (3).

Besides sending direct aid to stricken areas such as Turkey, Kosovo, Central America and Sudan, BCF also maintains a very close link with TEAR Fund, making regular donations toward their work for international relief.

Other contacts include Assemblies of God World Missions and Incare, the Leprosy Mission and Release International.
